Objectives
1. Understand the heart-level adjustments and frame of mind required to productively engage in medical care and cross-cultural relationships in the mission hospital setting.
2. Be aware of common pitfalls made by short-term and long-term missionaries.
3. Understand how one’s faith informs the mission experience where one will be faced with advanced presentation of pathology in the setting of severe resource limitations and crippling poverty.
