Ethical Dilemmas in Global Healthcare Settings

This session will present a template for analyzing educational and medical ethical issues in a global setting. We will then present two to three scenarios from real life situations and have the participants divide into small groups and discuss them using the template provided. We will then meet back and discuss the conclusions reached by each group.

—Define ethical principles for clinical practice domestically and in a global setting.
—Use a template to analyzing educational and medical ethical issues in a global setting for representative scenarios.
