Dr. Patrick’s objective is for all of us to be better able to bear witness to what the Lord has done, often not we wanted to be done. Morally neutral teaching does not exist because we all use the word “ought” when we teach clinical medicine. Students ask what they ought to do? But ought does not exist in a world of materialistic naturalism. The objectives of this session are to understand the power of sharp questions, understand the denial of the problem of the origin of ethics, help children come into this world with moral knowledge and to argue effectively to rights of conscience.
