This presentation will discuss coping with healthcare demands that will stretch beyond the clinician’s comfort zone, discussing not only the academic demands, but also the spiritual nature of the impact of serving this way during short-term missions.
1. The participant will learn how to better prepare themselves to serve at the margins of their medical or surgical skills when serving on short-term missions.
2. The participant will be able to discuss how serving outside their comfort zone can enhance their faith and trust in God.
