Monty S. Jacobs, Esq., is the Director of Global Missions at AdventHealth (formerly Florida Hospital) in Orlando, Florida.  Monty holds degrees from Andrews University and Northwestern University School of Law.  He practiced law for almost twenty years with a focus on immigration matters.  Representing clients from around the world, he has worked extensively in India and the Philippines.

In August 2011, Monty joined Florida Hospital to serve as the Director of Global Missions.  In January, 2019, Florida Hospital became AdventHealth.  In this role, he is directly involved with AdventHealth’s work in Ethiopia, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Peru and the Philippines where they collaborate with local healthcare organizations to improve healthcare services.  AdventHealth Global Missions also coordinates medical mission trips for its personnel, repurposes donated medical equipment and supplies through its warehouse operations, coordinates an annual global nursing conference and arranges program visits to AdventHealth from its international partner institutions. 

Through these medical mission trips, hundreds of volunteers from AdventHealth have provided care to thousands of people in many countries.  Operation Sunshine is one of the programs developed by AdventHealth Global Missions to provide healthcare for hundreds of at-risk children in Haiti.  Monty is passionate about living AdventHealth’s mission: To Extend the Healing Ministry of Christ, and helping others engage in volunteer service. 

In addition to his work life, Monty is married to Geraldine “Gigi” Jacobs, DMD and has two children, Megan and Jared.
